Dr. Kendra Derrick and Dr. Paul Kurtz
Dr. Kendra Derrick is passionate about her patients. She strives to provide the best quality, comprehensive dentistry that she can while focusing on the desires of her patients. Dr. Derrick provides caring, personalized attention. Her main goal is to make her patients feel like they are a part of her dental family and that they receive one-on-one focused care.
As a restorative and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Derrick knows the importance of comprehensive treatment planning, focusing not only on a patient’s mouth, but in how their overall health might be affected. Dr. Derrick is committed to providing treatment that keeps in mind the connection between both the oral and systemic health of her patients. She knows that this kind of personalized treatment planning creates longer lasting results and prevents problems from recurring.
Dr. Derrick is a graduate of Marietta High School and the University of Georgia. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she met her husband, and business partner, Dr. Paul Kurtz. They have one son together.
Dr. Derrick is a member of the Academy of Oral Systemic Health (www.aaosh.org), Hinman Dental Society (www.hinman.org), the American Dental Association (www.ada.org), and the Georgia Dental Association (www.gadental.org).
Doctor Paul Kurtz is originally from Kansas City. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2000. After graduation, he moved to the Atlanta, GA area to begin his professional career.
Dr. Kurtz routinely advances his knowledge and abilities from internationally recognized doctors and speakers. He places significance on continuing his education and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the dental field. He values the ability to provide patients the best care possible with the best possible tools.
Dr. Kurtz is committed to providing the highest dental care to each of his patients. He treats each patient as if he/she were family and continuously employs the golden rule, “do unto others as you would have done unto you”.
Beyond his dental profession, the doctor is an outdoor enthusiast. If he cannot be reached by phone, he is most likely out in nature!
