Dr. Kendra Derrick and Dr. Paul Kurtz
Doctor Kendra Derrick is from Marietta, GA where she graduated from Marietta High School. She attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree. She then went to Indiana University School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
The doctor is a member of the American Dental Association (www.ada.org), Georgia Dental Association (www.gadental.org) and Hinman Dental Society (www.Hinman.org) . She volunteers yearly with the Special Olympics dental screening and has also volunteered with Georgia’s Mission of Mercy. Dr. Derrick enjoys attending continuing education in her areas of interest: cosmetic dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Derrick enjoys traveling, reading, and knitting. She also greatly enjoys outside activities such as jogging, skiing and hiking. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Paul Kurtz, and their son.
Doctor Paul Kurtz is originally from Kansas City. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2000. After graduation, he moved to the Atlanta, GA area to begin his professional career.
Dr. Kurtz routinely advances his knowledge and abilities from internationally recognized doctors and speakers. He places significance on continuing his education and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the dental field. He values the ability to provide patients the best care possible with the best possible tools.
Dr. Kurtz is committed to providing the highest dental care to each of his patients. He treats each patient as if he/she were family and continuously employs the golden rule, “do unto others as you would have done unto you”.
Beyond his dental profession, the doctor is an outdoor enthusiast. If he cannot be reached by phone, he is most likely out in nature!
